The pumps are fully submersible and have built-in electronics for automatic starting of the pump without the use of a level monitor. The pump starts every 2.5 minutes to detect if there is water (higher resistance on impeller), if there is water, the pump starts automatically and runs until all water is relieved. It then returns to sensor mode and starts every 2.5 minutes.
